At times, you might be presented with the following error, when you try accessing your Magento Website:-

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

This issue is caused by the Magento maintenance flag, most likely applied by accident when you installed an extension from Magento connect. To avoid this in the future, please ensure you un-check the box next to "place store in maintenance mode " when installing extensions. To remove the maintenance flag, locate maintenance.flag file within public_html (or the actual document root in case it's an add-on domain) and delete the file.
